CURRICULUM
St. Timothy School provides an educational experience with a comprehensive academic curriculum. St. Timothy School also considers each student’s developmental needs and emphasizes growth in all areas...physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.
The curriculum for our preschool includes a balance of guided play activities, creative movement, reading and math readiness, and creative art. We also support the children’s creativity through music, conversation, story times, and dramatic play. Outdoor play and group activities round out their schedule. Chapel is also an important part of their spiritual experience here.
By carefully selecting our primary school curriculum from different publishers, our school can give students a balanced program allowing them to excel. We also use some of the same curriculum you find at much more expensive private schools. Outdoor play, Bible class, and chapel help to meet the complete needs of our primary students.
We test all primary students annually using the Stanford 10 Standardized Test. St. Timothy School students score well. The average score is about a year or two year above grade level, with several students scoring much higher. Our dedicated faculty’s challenge is to reach all students where they are and help them to reach their own individual potential.
After School ActivitiesSt. Timothy School offers the onsite convenience of a variety of after school activities. Just to name a few, we offer dance, gymnastics, and chess. There is also cheerleading, enrichment classes in math and reading, robotics, and more.
