Primary school: Grades Kindergarten thru Sixth Grade
St. Timothy School is an extension of the Christian education and
outreach programs of St. Timothy United Methodist Church. Under the
guidelines of qualified teachers, the program will provide an
educational curriculum which considers the development needs of the
child and emphasizes growth in all areas...physical, emotional, mental,
and spiritual. This program is designed to serve church members and
families from our community.
The Church's school program is governed by a Board of Directors which
meets quarterly. Its members are composed of church members dedicated
to making this an outstanding Christian school program.
The curriculum for our preschool includes a balance of guided play
activities, creative movement, reading and math readiness, creative art
work, music, outdoor play, conversation, story times, dramatic play,
chapel and group activities. Each child will be encouraged to grow in
independence and social development, while maintaining his/her own
unique talents and abilities.
The curriculum for primary school is selected to give our students a
balanced program that gives them the opportunity to excel in all
academic areas.
